FABRIC FURNITURE CARE
- Keep away from direct sunlight to avoid and prevent fading or break down of material.
- Keep at least 50 cm to 100 cm away from electrical or gas heating systems.
- When vacuuming, use an upholstery or drape attachment to remove dust, dirt or crumbs.
- For velvet, the fabric will settle after a few days so any marks should come out. Use a velvet cleaning brush to remove anything.
- For velvet products which will be heavily used we advise to gently vacuum the fabric with an upholstery attachment at least once a week. Alternatively, you can also use a soft velvet bristled or clothes brush, ensuring to brush in the direction of the nap of the fabric.
- Use a soft cloth or paper towel to treat spills. Do this by dabbing the area and allowing to dry naturally.
- Do not use detergents or soaps for fabric cleaning.
- Cut or knot loose threads instead of pulling them.
- Pilling may occur naturally from regular use and is not considered a fault. This can be removed by using a de-pilling tool.
- If the sofa allows, fabric cover can be taken off and dry cleaned only.
